Sausage Cream Cheese Crescent Rolls

 Ingredients

For the Filling:
•1 lb breakfast sausage
•8 oz cream cheese, softened
•1 teaspoon garlic powder
•½ teaspoon onion powder
•¼ teaspoon black pepper
For the Rolls:
•2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough (or puff pastry sheets)
•1 egg, beaten (for egg wash – optional)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Sausage Filling
1.In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until fully browned.
2.Drain excess grease.
3.Stir in softened cream cheese while the sausage is still warm, mixing until everything is creamy and well combined.
4.Season with garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper. Set aside to cool slightly.
2. Assemble the Crescent Rolls
1.Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2.Roll out each crescent triangle on a clean surface.
3.Spoon 1–2 tablespoons of the sausage-cream cheese mixture onto the wider end of each triangle.
4.Roll tightly toward the tip, creating a neat crescent or small roll shape (as in the picture).
5.Place each roll seam-side down on a baking sheet.
6.Brush lightly with egg wash for a glossy, golden finish.
3. Bake to Perfection
1.Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the rolls are puffed, flaky, and beautifully golden on top.
2.Cool slightly before serving so the filling sets.
