Here’s how to empty the WhatsApp trash to free up storage space and speed up your mobile phone.

Has your Android or iPhone been slow lately? WhatsApp loads on all websites, but apps launch with a warning and no space to store a photo? The reason could be quite simple: WhatsApp is flooding your phone with junk data without you even realizing it. Good news: We explain how to effectively clean it all up without losing your messages.

Why WhatsApp is slowing down your phone

The issue only affects messages and photos that are visible in the app. WhatsApp calendar entries are also stored on your system.    Add in the media that is automatically generated from groups and your conversations, and your phone can quickly fill up… even before you’ve downloaded it.

The signs that don’t lie:

  • Your phone takes a long time to boot up.
  • Storage space fills up quickly.
  • If you haven’t installed any new apps,
  • WhatsApp is now available, regardless of whether it is available or not.
  • Learn more about paper frames in WhatsApp on Android

You can find the paper folder on the WhatsApp page, where you can see the following dates:

    Summary:

    1. Open your file manager (sometimes called “My Files”, “Files” or “Manager”).
    2. Follow this path: Internal Storage > Android > Media > com.whatsapp > WhatsApp > Media
    3. Open your order under “WhatsApp photos”, “WhatsApp videos”, “Sent”…
    4. If you cancel the appointment, you don’t have to wait any longer.

If you lose the green light, the megabyte can still be used!

Delete hidden WhatsApp files on iPhone (iOS)

    1. Delete files from the WhatsApp app

To find out if you have direct access to WhatsApp’s internal data on iOS and Android, follow these instructions:

    • Open    WhatsApp   .
    • Go to    Settings > Storage & Data > Manage Storage   .
    • See here:
      • The    most space-consuming discussions   .
      • Large files   (videos, documents, etc.).
    • Tips for watching the conversation and details below:
      • Select > Select All > Delete   .

If we are not aware of which media you are using, we also recommend that you use WhatsApp.

You can also view and read the WhatsApp cache.

The cache is a temporary collection of files that are created to speed up the application. So I still get this response, but that’s the end of the application.

    How to empty it:

    1. Go to your settings > Apps > WhatsApp
    2. Tap Storage
    3. Tap “Clear cache”

Don’t worry: Your messages or important files will not be deleted. This is not a temporary suspension.

Use the “Manage Storage” feature in WhatsApp

WhatsApp now includes these new tools with the following dates:

    1. Open the app
    2. Go to Settings > Storage & Data > Manage Storage

      You will see:

      • More approved calls
      • Large files (videos, audio, documents)
      • The space occupied by each conversation

This way you can see it and take it out.

These tips will help you get your phone running smoother and more responsive again. A new digital update and YOUR WhatsApp feature are now available.
