 Ingredients

•1 pound ground beef
•2 bell peppers, chopped (any colors)
•1 onion, finely chopped
•3 cloves garlic, minced
•1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
•1 (15 oz) can low-sodium beef broth
•1 (15 oz) can diced tomatoes (with juice)
•1 cup uncooked long-grain white rice
•1 teaspoon paprika
•1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
•½ teaspoon black pepper
•½ teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
•1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese (optional, as seen melted on top)
•Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

1.Cook the Beef
In a large skillet or deep pan over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess fat if necessary.
2.Add Vegetables
Add the chopped onion and bell peppers to the beef. Cook for 4–5 minutes until the vegetables begin to soften. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
3.Season
Mix in Worcestershire sauce, paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Stir well to coat everything evenly.
4.Add Rice and Liquids
Pour in the beef broth and diced tomatoes. Stir in the uncooked rice, making sure it’s evenly distributed.
5.Simmer
Bring the mixture to a gentle boil, then reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 20–25 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the rice is tender and most of the liquid is absorbed.
6.Add Cheese (Optional)
Sprinkle shredded cheese over the top. Cover and let it melt for 2–3 minutes, or place under a broiler briefly until bubbly.
7.Serve
Remove from heat, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve warm.
